This Shaw mcbride guy who wins 159 million dollars in the Georgia Lottery says he’s going to give it all way! Apparently he used to be a troubled kid but got saved before resorting to suicide. Now he’s a local Saint! I guess money loses its luster when you let Christ into your life. Thanks for sending the video Lena.

@Sidowse I don’t know how God feels about gambling. I imagine him thinking it’s pretty funny that this guy has baffled so many by saying no to the Almighty Dollar. I’m not a fundamentalist so I don’t see anything wrong w/ the lottery…all in moderation. I probably wouldn’t give it all away but if that’s his choice, good for him. He’ll probably save himself a lot of grief so every creep he’s ever met, and many he hasn’t, aren’t hounding him for a handout every time he turns around.

@jsurrenders Wasn’t “God” against gambling? what is the point of playing a lottery if you give it away?

Someone donates millions of dollars to charity and they are praised for their generiosity. Someone donates millions of dallars to charity in the name of Christanity and it’s a complete uproar about how Christanity has brainwashed him, “he’s a moron”, “has mental problems”, “idoit”, list goes on and on . Do you guys even hear yourselves??! Its very popular these days to twist acts of kindness and generiosity in the name of Christianty into the cause of all the problems in the world..

Look at the vile remarks such an act of selflessness brings. That tells me this man is on the right path. He has felt the grace of God in his life. Because of the humble service of the other winner, a true follower of Christ, he is alive…how can money top that? God’s grace is a gift, and not everyone has experienced it yet. When you do, you will understand the ordering of his priorities.

this guy is a fuckin moron, he will be pissed one day when he really needs money like when he gets old and can’t work or maybe gets an injury and can’t work or whatever, start your own good charity that u know is right and that all the money u raise is going to the right place!

    Thanks
So he got scammed at the ‘highest’ level. I don’t think anyone can top that.

This guy got scammed though (the one giving away the money)… Some man in a white robe with a white beard approached him and told him, “I AM (GOD)”, then preceded on telling him how he was a little short on money and promised him that he would cure everyone on the planet of any illness and ensure world peace if he gave all his money to himself (GOD). Afterward, he gave the man wearing the white robe and beard all his money in the following week and the man was never seen again.

If one is weak-minded, money can become the root of all evil. Some people smoke it–some drink it–some use it on whores–some are sinfully extravagant with it —and so on.
Some lose in scams–some lose in business.
So, an occasional attempt at the lottery doesn’t really ad to much harm, and is certainly not gambling.
However, if he really wanted to do good with it, he should have hired top brains to use it wisely–or set up a foundation, of which he should have been a chairman.
