Yes, I know. I made this video a day before the lottery. It would be pretty damn incredible to pick the whole order of the draft lottery before it was drawn. Anyways, yes ‘77 was great and with the help of the events of May 22nd we will hopefully have many more “Best Days” to come.

you have the order off, atl, then seattle, then us. and no not the best day in the history june 5th 77.

Best Day in Blazer History?!?! I don’t think so! June 5, 1977 the Blazer defeat the favored 76ers in Six Games to win their one and only NBA Championship. Now that’s the best day in franchise history.

i said it on another vidoe, and i’ll say it here. its a shame Blazers are gettin Oden. How many Blazers game’s get televised nationwide? rarely any. So he’ll be a hometown hero. He wont get into any allstar game anytime soon, i’ll tell ya that.

Finally the basketball Gods have smiled upon on Portland and have resurrected RIP CITY! Its just gods way of rewarding Portland for not tanking games at the end of the season like some other teams, I’m not gonna mention names but we all know who they are. Not since Labron and Mellow have two draft picks have so much potential to make an immediate impact. I look forward to the day when the Portland Trail Blazers play ball in June!

you getting the #1 pick is not good for my lakers, but the suns not getting a high draft pick is LOL, anyways the pacific division is gonna be a mine-field next year.

  16. By franmicgom on Jun 24, 2009 | Reply

just don’t pass on a “jordan-type” player this time LOL! i doubt that will happen though but yesterday was good & bad for my lakers cuz the hawks got the 3rd pick which was good cuz then they don’t give a high draft pick to the suns, but the bad was that the blazers got the #1 pick & they will be good next season.

Go Pacific Northwest!!! Portland and Seattle were both winners yesterday.

I appreciate it, but I’m not going to take any responsiblity for what happened. This has been a long time coming for us Blazer fans. We have definitely had our ups and DOWNS… Now we get to ride this wave for years to come!!! AS KP put it, “RIP CITY IS BACK, BABY!”

of course they do, they won the lottery and now they will be title contenders for quite some time…

As a Sonic fan, I am so happy to see the top 2 picks in the deepest draft since ‘84 go to the northwest. It will make the I-5 Rivalry one of the best in the league, something Stern should be happy to see. This makes it much more likely we stay here.

portland does not deserve greg oden!!

Of course a Seattle fan wouldn’t see that I made this video one day before the lottery.

I saw the result on ESPNews, and had to look back at the screen a few times before I would believe it!!! Both potential picks have already expressed a desire to go all out for Portland.

All I can say is… RIP CITY LIVES!!!!
