tinyurl.com CLICK ON THIS ^ A split-screen, as-live comparison between What Was Happening On BBC One While Derren Brown Was Doing His Thing On Channel Four (or in this case, More4), and Derren Brown Doing His Thing On Channel Four. Or in this case, More4. This proves that, yes, it was properly live. My guess for how it was *really* done: E-ink on Derren’s balls. And that’s not a sentence you get to use very often outside of the ‘adult entertainment’ industry, is it? Actually, he probably had …

The fact he doesn’t show his numbers first destroys most of the credibility, and then the way he waits, the ball on the left changes position, and his explanation just make it laughable and an insult to my intelligence. Seriously does he think anyone will believe he got 24 people to have a guess, got the average and they happened to be the right numbers? The odds of getting the number 2 from as an average from 24 people are so bad you could win the lotto several times before you get it.

I WISH TO PROTEST AGAINS THE MORONS, AGAIN NoraThayerfs and friends, who are probably mentally handicapped and can’t cope and are just being obscene and objectionable to anyone who has a brain, probably out of their own half-witted version of envy.THEY SHOULD BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY (that means at once guys).

that said, I do like the splitscreen idea also… seems that could work easily enough. the camera shake is a nice idea, but easily dealt with by good motion tracking tech.

Never underestimate the lexicon of mentalist tricks… it is entirely possible he created ‘trick’ balls that displayed numbers broadcast to them via some remote device. You think that’s absurd? Believe me, it’s a technique that had been used. Get onto the right websites, and you can buy all sorts of gizmos.

ur all stupid no offence like, but there is no physical way you could use a split screen in this situation ur saying about the camera shaking? the camera is shaking througout the whole video as the person doesnt have a tripod, they wouldnt have enough time to swap the numbers +hide themselves and the other 43 balls, stop being so synical wait for him to explain his method!

And Yes, Ofcourse, Derren Brown will have his own long winded reason on why he “Choose” those numbers for the draw the otha Friday, which he will more than likely make you believe, but look for yourself on a hig quality version at the balls.

…This allows the second person to swap the rack off balls so now these are the reals ones that got called out, Then the bit you was saying bout synced footage, they resync the footage shown so the left side is live again, and yes, the screen does freeze on the sync, then after the sync, the left most ball (39) has moved slightly upwards, It’s noticeable if you flick back and forth fastly, watch for yourself.

He does not predict ANYTHING, He purposely doesn’t show you the balls at the start because they are “Blank”, and yes the draw and the show is boradcasted live and is real but, He has someone else, who has access to the 49 white balls, all off them have a number on, As each off the numbers are drawn, away from the camera, the balls are placed on a new rack, the left side is a pre-recorded footage of static balls being placed in sync as a overlay with the right side….

Theirs nobody behind the lottery balls, they have a clear stand to confirm that, and there’s no such thing as an invisible man. also split screen cameras would not be in sync with each over when shaking. Also Derren wasn’t aloud to enter the lottery, and legal action wouldn’t be taken for split scene trickery.
Im sorry to burst your theory but it was broadcast completely live, whatever he did to predict them, trickery or not it would have taken much more time and thought than a split screen

Derren Clown!, that is all your are, a clown. Thanks for the laughs and the biggest anticlimax in tv history! Your magic is fakery not trickery. You said you always told the pubic the truth but this time you lied…and everyone knows it!!! Derren Clown, get out of my town, your crappy tricks make me frown! Fake magic from a fake magician Fake fake fake followed by lies lies lies. How many times in the past have you lied to us i wonder? Do not trust Derren ‘the clown’ Brown! Thanks for nothing!

How does the shake match up with the split screen side of the picture then? surly if it a seperate view (the split screen side) both camers would have to shake exactly the same time?

If you look the camera shakes slightly, as you see he makes it look live with the t.v and his predicted numbers, what he does is he has a split screen meaning thatyou cannot see behind the predicted lottery numbers, and he has an assistant that changes the balls in the slight camera shake and the slight shake is when the assistant puts the predicted numbers there for what the real ones are so he gets it right. Hope I Helped.

The other reason Derren couldnt show the balls beforehand is because if he did, people all over would be betting on the outcome and with derrens reputation of getting his stunts right, bookies would have lost a fortune. This is why Derren is never employed by the courts to see if someone is guilty or not because then it skews the whole system of a jury. He could be used for so many things, but for political and legal reasons he cant

What you are patently forgetting or do not appreciate is that Brown goes out of his way to explain that he is no magician or that such a thing as phsycic powers exist.. He openly admits and emphasises that he is a “trickster”.

It’s simple: if he could predict the numbers for real he would then put his numbers on display before the draw for the viewers to see. Because he didn’t do so means only 1 thing – it was a trick, not a prediction.
