New soccer shoes LOTTO twist’n go
May 2nd, 2009 | by admin |distaljet asked:
A preview of the new soccer shoes made by Lotto in cooperation with the University of Pavia. It’s a first time that one shoes for soccer is developed after University study where many soccer player are tested in order to indentify their pivot point in the foot. This point is important during changes of directions, to have in this area a new stud with a goal to eliminate any possible trauma for the body is a great innovation. The stud itìs really new and never was made something of similar …

Even seems that in the stud remain sand/dirt this last don’t determine any problem regarding stud work and stability, as I told you after the first production analizing problems occured we solve the break’s stud problem.
If you had break your shoe means that this was first production, Lotto guarantee this and if you contact the company by the store Lotto will change free the shoes giving a new ones. If you have problem contact me please.

Are you saying that you fixed the problem all together or just remove the dirt/sand from the stud? This is happening to mine ,and I am finding it extremely annoying almost constantly having to look for a break in play to fix my stud.

We had considered this aspect, the machanical part that permit rotation is protected by the dirt. In the first shoes produced ( no actually ones) we had problem with sand that enter in the stud area and determine an abrasion in the stud retention, remove it, this problem is solved now!

can’t dirt get under the stud and make it so the stud has basically a 0 degree range of motion?

Hi, not worry about this, the stud it’s in the area of first methatarsal, means the area used when you turn fast or in a cutting movement. The shoes guarantee feet’s stability. This techonology is particulary indicated also for artificial turf use. Ther’s no negative indication for your role use (goalkeeper). bye

Distaljet, when you run, won’t you run in a weird line and cause unwanted turns and twists? I play as goalkeeper so do you think it is worth it. Please reply. Thank you

We had some problems in durable sense of the stud because the sand entered in the system abrading the plastic part that held the stud, but actually this problem is solved.
Any real innovation has “juvenile piety” and we are not different to the other that try to make real innovation respecting human physiology and not caring only design! This is an effort and determine also some risk!
I hope to answer all your question

The athletes are able to anticipate the movements.
The athletes feel the stud in particulary when they play in hard surfaces.
We design outsole putting the stud were necessary in order to protect the athletes in balance sense during kicking , sprinting, cutting, jumping ecc. Any stud and any part of the shoe is studied to respect player movements.

We study this shoes 4 years before to start with the development and 2 years in development process.
We gathered at list 1000 biomechanical test, I think is a huge number of test!
We record an increase of speed of 16 cm /sec or 6.3 inch/sec and the friction reduction is an average of 3% respect conic stud, more respect bladed stud.
This last number seem very few but if you imagine this reduction for 2000 time in a match you understand the advantage of this in performance and prevention sense.

The shoe with the new technology guarantee stability and balance in any movement but it avoid negative friction between shoes/ground in many movement hight risk for injuries.
It’s a first soccer boot studied before is development, observed and studied for years player to play soccer and with prevention and performance as claim.
moreover we would like to do something of beautiful since a products fruits of the italian design.

It move for 360°, the advantage of this stud is in changing direction and sprinting during playing soccer.
We have calculate at list 2000 changing direction in a match and several sprint for 12 Km and 6000 contact between foot/ground in a match.

also does the stud pnly moves one direction?
or is the stud made to work only for one direction? it looks like it twist for one direction movemnet only.

from first sight and impression of the new device installed i thought it was very awesome.
-but the stud will eventually come off after simultaneous kicking of the ball wouldn’t it?
we all saw the impacct did on the stud but that was a one time thing.i think after some time its not durable.
-another thing was although it helps you to change movements quicker and smoother does it affect running? and will it cause unwanted twist and turns?

As a referee of the FA these studs are ellegable to play as they do not contain aliminium blades which is the only stud on the verge of becoming banned from the pitches due to injury caused and injury sustained if you ever feel a pain in your knee when wearing predators you no there is too much traxion this can cause cruciate ligament damage

Penso che significa che la mandra è allentato così l’arbitro non lasciarlo giocare
